International Voice Teachers of Mix (IVTOM) is a professional, non-profit organization that strives to teach natural and healthy vocal production in all styles of music. We help singers and teachers expand their knowledge of teaching the art and science of singing. IVTOM is for voice teachers and provides a teaching accreditation program, ongoing education, a mentor program, international conferences, and an international network with other professionals. IVTOM membership is open to any individual desiring to learning the MIX technique. Whether a singer or teacher, professional or new to the profession, there is a place for you within the IVTOM organization.

Accreditation Program
As an accrediting organization, IVTOM provides resources, training, and mentorship to teachers who are committed to learning to sing and teach Mix effectively. Anyone interested in learning about the voice and how to teach singing can be accepted.
Accreditation Program Details
The purpose of the accreditation training program is to ensure applicants can teach an effective Mix singing lesson to a student.

Study Materials: Applicants can choose between two different written texts as the basis for their vocal technique learning.Â
- Mentor: Every applicant will be assigned a mentor. This mentor will provide direction regarding the written material, as well as engage in multiple practical lessons to help the applicant meet required proficiencies.
- Required proficiency examples: Understand the Mix technique, play scales in all keys, learn to analyze voices and apply the Mix technique, Introduction to vocal health and science (more advanced vocal health and science learning in post-accreditation training)

Listed pricing is for applicants already proficient in their own vocal mix. Additional charges will be required if the applicant requires training to solidify the Mix technique in their own voice.
