Continuing Education

Each accredited IVTOM teacher completes 5 credits of continuing education each calendar year (January 1 – December 31).   Your education can be logged on the Continuing Education Tracking Form.

Any combination that totals five or more points is acceptable.

  • Two hours of IVTOM-sponsored regional or local teacher training – virtual or in-person:  1 credit (cost varies)
  • IVTOM-sponsored Master Class – virtual or in-person: 1 credit (cost varies)
  • IVTOM-sponsored voice conference, 2 days or more, attending virtually or in-person: 4 credits (cost varies)  
  • Private lesson, working on your voice with any IVTOM Mentor: 30 minutes – 1 credit (cost varies)
  • One-on-one private session with an IVTOM Mentor: discussion, Mentor observes you teaching, Q&A, etc.: 30 minutes – 1 credit (cost varies)
