    Author: Camiah Mingorance

    Growing up in a musical, performance oriented family, Camiah has spent much of her life in entertainment. After studying rhythm and dance at Brigham Young University for a few years, she relocated to Georgia in 1996. Camiah has been teaching music in the Atlanta area for over 20 years. She has directed small orchestras, children's choirs, church choirs, created holiday performances, and teaches private piano and private voice lessons as well. Camiah is the voice teacher for several professional theaters in the Atlanta area, including The Aurora Theater. Her students can be found on Broadway stages, National Tours, the nation's finest regional theaters and in the world's most respected music program - Carnegie Mellon, University of Michigan, CCM, Berklee, Royal Scotland and Royal Welsh to name just a few. She is a frequent guest lecturer at national Thespian conferences and is a co-owner of College Audition Project which hosts one of the nations largest private college audition events, CAP United Auditions. She is also a co-author of the book, College Audition Workbook, which is available on Amazon.
