    Author: Dominika Plonka

    Vocal instructor, Vocalist, Flutist from Gliwice, Poland. Dominika studied choir conducting at the Academy of Music in Katowice (Master Degree) and Sound Engineering in Krakow. She started singing in 1994 with her own project of smooth jazz and ballads. From 1995 she played over 300 spectacles with a musical theater "Teatr A" from Gliwice as flutist, singer, choir conductor and music arranger and sound engineer. In 2001 she founded folk band "SASIEDZI". With this group she played over 350 concerts in France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Czech Republic and USA. In all the bands Dominika was always responsible for vocal arrangements and voice training. She works as a vocal instructor in Youth Center of Culture (Mlodziezowy Dom Kultury), and Krakow Jazz School, she also runs her studio. She cooperates as vocal coach with professional singers, singing different styles: pop, rock, folk, jazz and musical theater. She also helps rock and metal singers singing in aggressive way with healthy voice. Dominika travels, giving lessons and vocal workshops to singers and voice teachers. She is a President of a polish Mix Singers Association, the organization which organizes big international vocal workshops and science seminars for over 100 participants in Poland. Dominika Plonka is IVTOM European Board Member.
